July 19, Church at the Gate, Sioux Falls, SD

Sunday morning was just delightful. I did something I rarely do — I brought a different message in the two morning services. And it really seemed to work. Especially since the two messages go together beautifully: The parables of Luke on prayer, in Luke 11 and Luke 18. Strong response in both services. The church showed a ton of affection and appreciation, it was very sweet. The presence of the Lord was strong and confirming. My heart is overflowing with thanksgiving to God.

July 18, Enoch Farm, Elkton, SD

Sunday 5:00 p.m.: It’s been a marvelous weekend. I had a great time with the saints at Enoch Farm in Elkton, speaking on being a friend of God. There were some who didn’t seem to connect at all to the message, but others who connected at the level of being in tears. I think it’s just that kind of message — where you either really connect, or really don’t.

July 14, Intro to IHOP

Tuesday 1:00 p.m.: I had a wonderful time this morning at the Intro to IHOP internship class, speaking on the blood of Jesus and entering the Holiest. The presence of the Lord was sweet. I’m so grateful to Him.

Saturday: Today I am heading to Sioux Falls, SD, and then by car to Elkton, SD, for tonight’s meeting with Enoch Farms. This will be my third time to be with them, just a fabulous group of saints. I am planning on speaking on being a friend of God, unless the Lord directs me otherwise.

Then they will bring me back to Sioux Falls tonight, where I will lodge in preparation for Sunday morning at Church at the Gate in Sioux Falls. This is a strong church in the area, my second time to be with them, and I’m looking forward to it very much. I’m planning on doing two different messages in their two Sunday morning services.

p.s. On a  different, we heard via an email this week that three of my books have been translated and printed in Poland. We had given permission to the publisher, but had no idea if they had followed through yet. So it was nice to hear that the books are done and touching the church in Poland. Please bless those translations in prayer!

July 8, Luke 18 Summer Leadership Program, Kansas City, MO

Wednesday noon: Had a marvelous session this morning with the student leaders attending the Luke 18 Summer Leadership Program. I spoke on Luke 18, and the grace of the Lord was very clear and strong with us. In a moment of spontaneity, we decided to show the Job video clip before I spoke. It set a good tone. The Lord’s presence was so meaningful during the session.

Up next: This coming weekend I was scheduled to go to a church but it has had a change in their pastoral leadership and decided to cancel. So I’m home this weekend! I will enjoy having the weekend with my family. My next speaking session is next Tuesday, at an IHOP internship.
